Up for sale is an Index Everest Ver. 3, running firmware version 11.0.41. Purchased in 2011, the printer works great, and is in great condition. Since Braille displays are steadily replacing printers, I figured it could use a new home. Included also is a copy of Duxbury Ver. 11.1. This does not support Windows 8, but 7. Additionally, I believe the user would have to pay $150.00 to transfer the license. Buyer pays shipping. Paypal only.
Printer was serviced in 2012, but has worked well. Uses standard cardstock paper, found at any office supply store. Features a USB port, a network jack, and a parallel connection. It prints at 100 CPS or characters per second, and is double-sided. You can also adjust it to single-sided mode. Feed mechanism says it can hold 70 sheets, but in reality, I would only put aprox. 30 in at a time.
